Biography

Anna Caffarelli is a contemporary, modern, and jazz dance performer, choreographer, and teacher. In July of 2022, Anna choreographed and performed at the Agropoli Danza Festival in Southern Italy for the WADE Dance Hub, raising awareness of gender-based violence. She also recently produced and choreographed her first independent dance show titled Parting at Raisbeck Theater in Seattle, WA.

Anna graduated Cumma Sum Laude with her BFA in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts in May of 2022, where she studied dance performance, improvisation, choreography, and dance film. She also trained at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Visceral Dance Chicago, and VIM VIGOR. Improvisation, choreography, and leadership are Anna’s greatest artistic passions. Viewing improvisation as the most pure and unedited expression of self, she uses it in her work as a generative choreographic tool and expressive self-revealing therapy.
